the quay

last night, our client took us out for dinner to a restaurant that i have not been before, the quay. because we were a party of over 16, the restaurant insisted that we order from a set menu, which to me is kind of confusing since they would have probably made more $$$ if we were ordered a la carte - i mean 16 is not 60. anyways, overall the food and service was very good, and the view from the restaurant was beautiful with all the boats parked out front in the marina.
afterwards, we made our way to bar none, where we took in the great house band (i'm not sure what the name is), playing some great soul classics. there is nothing like listening to live music in an intimate setting like that.
