belated merry christmas
To those of you who read this (and to those of you who don't), I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas. I hope you had a wonderful holiday spent with your family and your friends.It's been a long time since I've sent Christmas cards, and it's always a treat to get an actual letter or card. Somehow e-cards just don't cut it. One of my resolutions is to 'reconnect', so maybe next year I'll get back to basics and send a card in the post.

xavier cesar's baptism.
It has been so long since I've blogged, that I almost forgot my password. December has whizzed by, with Christmas parties and other social engagements, almost too fast even for my liking. On Sunday, it was Xavier's baptism. He cried during the actual ceremony, but was super happy and content after his feeding.I know I'm a bit biased, but isn't he cute? More pictures here.

vancouver snowfall.
I'm a bit late in posting, but the last week brought lots of snow. Vancouver's winters are usually all about wet, grey and rainy. It's very rare when it snows and sticks, but even more rare when it snows, sticks and we get a sunny day. Above is a picture is from Kat Kam.
Snowboard season is here, and I managed to make it up with my brother and Oliver to Cypress for the first time a couple of Sundays ago. We all need a bit more conditioning, but hopefully the early snowfall is a sign of a great season to come.
